February 23, 2022 - Intern Jay plants our first peppers in soil blocks. Thanks to our friends at Ball Seed, we have a new variety - “Peppers from Heaven.” In this tray are red, yellow, and orange Peppers from Heaven.
March 1, 2022 - We built this today. It will house our flats of seedlings in a few weeks.
March 15, 2022 - We have over 500 peppers sprouted and in pots. Many more are on the way. We seeded our first tomatoes today and tomatillos are sprouted and up. The greenhouse is now warm enough at night to use for our seedlings. Here Jay and Malakai show off their work.
May 16, 2022 - We battled the wind today to put down our second silage tarp. Two fields are now being solarized.
